A hundred teams of 4-10 researchers, professors and students from 45 countries.

At this level of competition, teams composed of researchers, professors and students push the state of the art of autonomous robotics every year. The scientific advances include image analysis, motor function, human and robot interaction and artificial intelligence decision making.

Come join us for the world’s largest robotics and artificial intelligence competition, from July 4 to 10, 2023 at the Bordeaux Exhibition Center (Parc des Expositions de Bordeaux).

We the R-ZWEI-Kickers, Hochschule Kaiserslautern are the first new German team for quite a few  years.

Rule Changes from 2022

• Two separate competitions are played: the champions cup for the strongest teams and the challenge shield for all other teams. RoboCup 2023 will use 7 players in the champions cup and 5 players in the challenge shield

• The human referee visually report offenses to the robots.
• Robots learn to read human signs.
